Wanga Woman - Synopsis
Genre: Horror /
Running Time: 1 hour 47 minutes
Rated: Mature Audiences

A wicked horror story of a Creole woman, Salema LaReaux
(Melanie James), who learns the power of karma when she uses
an ancestral *Wanga Doll ritual to seek vengeance on corrupt city
officials following the mysterious death of her grandmother.

"Attorney Albright", (Dexter Tucker, actor Chris Tucker's brother)
plays a sharp dressing, hard nose, straight to the point lawyer.
He is hired by "Salema" to
handle corrupt city officials who threaten
to take his life when his investigation interferes with their illegal dealings.

Salema resorts to extreme measures in her retribution becoming
the essence of the *Wanga doll she uses in the ritual.  As time passes
she
realizes "Karma has a way with vengeance".  So now she must
release her negative energy toward her enemies who will ultimately
destroy themselves.

*Wanga Dolls (pronounciation Wan-Jah) are dolls said to be possessed
of a spirit and used to attract good, repel evil, or work revenge.

From the Director's Perspective...

Wanga Woman is not a slasher horror film about a mad woman going around killing people.

The story is actually about a woman who's life situations push her far beyond her limit and in her anger and desparation she resorts to extreme measures to overcome her obstacles...

Ultimately she grows to understand that  vengeance toward her enemies was not nearly as effective as the karma they would receive regardless of her actions toward them.

The film also explores
discomforting scenes of graphic sex and violence which take place simultaneously erupting in a place which will shake the essence of our core animal instincts.

I designed and created the symbol below as a reminder to us all... for everyone who did you wrong and thought they got away with it... Karma has a way with vengeance.
